Auditor-General SA Bursary 2027: Fully Funded CA(SA) Studies
Overview
The AGSA offers bursaries for you to pursue your studies in chartered accounting. The bursary will cover tuition fees, university accommodation, meals, and books.
Requirements
- Must be studying or intending to study full-time towards being a Chartered Accountant (i.e. BCom Accounting CA stream, Bachelor of Accounting CA stream and BCompt)
- Only South African citizens will be awarded a bursary
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Drive, determination, and commitment to succeed
- Strong leadership potential
- Must obtain matric exemption with university entrance
- Must obtain at least 60% in English
- Must obtain at least 60% in Maths (not Maths Literacy)
- Must obtain over 60% in Financial Accounting
- Must have obtained 60% or above in Maths and English while in Matric
- Must obtain over 60% in Management Accounting
- Must obtain 55% in all core modules of the chartered accountancy programme
- Must obtain acceptance into the CTA programme
Responsibilities
- Bursary holders are required to serve articles / enter into a training contract with the organisation on completion of their studies as per the bursary contract
