Overview
The Future is Bright Bursary Programme empowers students nationwide by bridging the gap between high school and tertiary education. The programme provides holistic support, equipping students with the knowledge, skills and experience needed to transition successfully into the world of work. The Foundation awards bursaries to qualifying applicants pursuing Higher Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees (1st to 4th year), Honours, Postgraduate and Advanced Diplomas in preferred fields of study.
Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must not be an employee of Hollywoodbets or an immediate family member/relative of an employee of Hollywoodbets or its related entities.
- Must be enrolled for full-time studies during the 2027 academic year.
- Open to 2026 matriculants, previous matriculants on a gap year, and students currently enrolled at a DHET/CHE-accredited university or registered private higher education institution.
- Must be studying towards a Higher Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Honours Degree or Postgraduate Diploma.
- Grade 12 applicants must have obtained a Bachelor's Pass with a minimum overall average of 65%.
- Current tertiary students must have achieved a minimum academic average of 60% in their most recent completed academic year.
