Overview

Demand and acquisition management of goods, services and infrastructure. Advertising bids and sourcing quotation via EPS.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas of the post
  • Exper ience: Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of SCM processes
  • Knowledge of Financial Management
  • Knowledge of Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPF)
  • Knowledge of Broad Black Based Econ omic Empowerment (BBBEE)
  • Knowledge of Construction Industry Development Board (CIBD)

Responsibilities

  • Demand and acquisition management of goods, services and infrastructure
  • Advertising bids and sourcing quotation via EPS
  • Preparation of procurement batches for the Quotation Committee
  • Adjudication of bids via EPS
  • Ensure that all transactions comply with legislative and prescripts requirements
  • Prepare and process all documentation for BAS payments
  • Update and record all Projects on the Engineering database
  • Assist with general ad hoc functions as and when required
