Overview
The Employee Health & Wellness Practitioner is responsible for enhancing the health and well-being of employees within the Provincial Administration: Limpopo. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring health and wellness programs aimed at improving employee productivity and morale. Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in health and wellness or related field
- Experience in employee health programs
- Knowledge of psychosocial and health-related issues
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Responsibilities
- Provide HIV counselling & peer support services
- Implement the HIV, STIs & TB programs
- Monitor & evaluate internal and external stakeholders
- Implement Wellness Management programs
- Provide psychosocial support (individual & group) to employees & their im mediate families
- Provide trauma debriefing and coordinate grief or crisis management following emergencies
- Coordinate and facilitate information sessions, workshops, events and health campaigns (on stress, HIV/AIDS, mental health etc) to educate employees
- Promote physical wellness & sports initiatives and advocate good nutrition
- Compile district monthly, quarterly & annual reports
