Requirements

  • A National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Human Resource Management or relevant qualification as recognized by SAQA
  • One (1) years' functional experience in HRD and Performance Management environment
  • Knowledge: Performance Management Methodology, Principles and Strategies
  • Digital Acumen/ Relevant HRM Systems/ Learning Systems/ Performance Systems etc
  • Customer Service (Batho Pele Principles)
  • Technical knowledge
  • Skills Development Act
  • Basic Conditions of Employment Act
  • Quality management and processes
  • Publi c policy and framework
  • PFMA and National Treasury Regulations
  • LRA, EE Act, SDA & BCEA
  • COIDA
  • DPSA Directives
  • Legislative

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and Implement PMDS policies and procedures
  • Implement midterm and final assessment for non-SMS members
  • Implement PMDS in the Department
  • Assist in analysing the alignment of individual performance agreement with the business plan in the department
  • Keep records of individual performance agreement
  • Provide support in the implementation of PMDS decision
  • Supply statistics on PMDS issues in the department
  • Compile monthly reports
  • Facilitate Departmental training needs assessment
  • Conduct Work Skill s Plan workshop
  • Provide assistance in the development of training programs
  • Implement WSP according to delegations
  • Develop new training programmes
  • Analyse skills development gaps
  • Facilitate the allocation of Bursary
  • Implementation of induction program mes
  • Provide support on human resource administration enquiries
  • Render policy advisory service to the department based on the legislative mandates
  • Supervise staff and resources in the sub- directorate
  • Assist in the implementation of approved resolutions
