Manager: SOX & Internal Controls
Overview
The Senior Manager: SOX & Internal Controls will lead the Merchant Division's SOX remediation and ongoing internal controls programme, working with Finance, Operations, and Technology to identify root causes of control failures and oversee implementation of control improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Merchant SOX remediation programme and maintain oversight of identified deficiencies and remediation timelines.
- Assess financial reporting risks and support development of remediation plans.
- Work with business owners to monitor implementation of remediation actions.
- Oversee assessment, design, and implementation of controls across financial reporting processes.
- Ensure key controls are documented and simplify, standardise, and automate controls.
- Facilitate redesign of reconciliations and develop minimum control standards.
