Overview
Frogfoot is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team and gain hands-on experience across campaigns, social media, content, events, activations and communications.
Requirements
- Be a South African Citizen
- Be between 18 and 35 years of age
- Have completed Grade 12 / Matric
- Have completed a 3-year Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, Business Marketing or a closely related field; OR Have completed a relevant Higher Certificate or Occupational Qualification at NQF Level 5
- Have a genuine interest in marketing, content, social media and communications
- Be eager to learn and develop your professional skills
- Be organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Be willing to take initiative
Responsibilities
- Supporting marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Assisting with social media content, captions, scheduling and monitoring
- Supporting events, activations and community marketing initiatives
- Assisting with content creation, website updates and communications
- Supporting artwork briefing, proofing and brand/Corporate Identity checks
- Maintaining marketing trackers, calendars, databases and reports
- Assisting with marketing stock, promotional materials, printing and courier requirements
- Supporting supplier, agency and internal stakeholder coordination
- Preparing presentations, activation packs and marketing materials
- Contributing fresh ideas for campaigns, content and customer communication
- Taking ownership of assigned tasks and meeting agreed deadlines
