Overview

The Account Manager for the Banking & Financial Sector is responsible for marketing and selling the company's products and services, including software solutions, to both new and existing clients. This role requires building strong customer relationships, resolving client queries, and meeting sales targets while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate client information.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets for the financial year.
  • Achieve required sales growth targets for various products and services.
  • Build and maintain sales pipeline growth within agreed targets.
  • Drive net new business growth within the respective portfolio.
  • Provide purpose-fit solutions based on an in-depth understanding of client needs.
  • Engage with clients regularly to maintain sound relationships.
  • Act as primary contact between clients and the company for negotiating prices and providing customized solutions.
  • Stay informed of changing market and competitor trends.
  • Maintain a current and updated database on all clients.
  • Keep informed of legislative requirements pertaining to document and records management.
  • Ensure effective classification of client information for fast retrieval.
  • Develop Account Plans to leverage new opportunities and ensure customer retention.
  • Report sales statistics to the Regional Sales Manager on a regular basis.
  • Ensure client portfolios are adequately serviced for satisfaction.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting business proposals to customers.
