Accountant - Talent Pool
Overview
RCL FOODS is a deeply rooted South African food manufacturer that produces some of the country’s most-loved brands. The company is building a Talent Pool of candidates interested in joining in the future, specifically seeking Accountants to provide financial information for decision making and prepare financial reports.
Requirements
- BComm / BComm Hons Degree or equivalent preferably Accounting/SAICA/SAIPA
- 3 Years relevant experience in a similar role
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills
- Builds constructive and effective relationships
Responsibilities
- Review Financial Records and Transactions
- Complete Month-end management accounts accurately and timely
- Review recorded entries for accuracy and proper account posting
- Compile month-end start to finish and working papers
- Process all closing stock figures and reconcile stock variances
- Assist Financial Manager with month-end detailed reports
- Analyze monthly COS per GL and compare to WTR
- Maintain Provisions & Accruals account
- Assist with all Financial related queries
- Report to Senior Management on all financial accounts
- Create reports for all financial transactions related to the business unit
- Ensure all stock managed items are balanced
- Liaise with Internal and External Auditors
- Perform monthly Wage reconciliation
- Handle queries from drivers to manage debtors accounts
