Overview
A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join its Western Cape team. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on construction professional with a strong background in multi-storey residential developments, concrete works, wet trades, and general site supervision.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- National Technical Certificate or Diploma in Construction, or Trade Qualification (Bricklaying, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, or similar)
- Formal qualification in Health, Safety and Environmental Management will be advantageous
- Minimum 5–10 years' experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role
- Proven experience on multi-storey residential construction projects
- Extensive experience supervising General Foremen, subcontractors, and site labour
- Strong experience managing concrete works, wet trades, and structural construction activities
- Excellent knowledge of finishing trades and quality control
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site logistics
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Responsibilities
- Managing daily site operations
- Coordinating labour and subcontractors
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
