C.CM / Pr.CM Construction Manager | Building Construction Industry
Overview
The Construction Manager will join the Western Cape team, overseeing multi-storey residential developments from project inception to successful completion. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with substantial experience in managing diverse construction teams and projects.
Requirements
- BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar qualification
- National Technical Diploma in Construction will be advantageous
- Formal qualification in Health, Safety and Environmental Management will be advantageous
- Registered with SACPCMP – either C.CM or Pr.CM
- Minimum 8–10 years' experience within the building construction industry
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior supervisory or construction management role
- Proven experience managing multi-storey residential construction projects
- Extensive experience managing General Foremen, Construction Supervisors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary site teams
- Strong experience overseeing concrete structures, wet trades, finishing trades, and project close-out
- Excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement, budgeting, and commercial management
- Strong knowledge of South African construction legislation and HSE requirements
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings
