CCTV Controller - Cape Town
Overview
The CCTV Controller is responsible for protecting company sites, personnel, assets, resources, and operations through the effective monitoring of CCTV, surveillance, and electronic security systems. The incumbent will actively monitor live camera feeds and surveillance platforms, identify and respond to security incidents, suspicious activities and operational risks, coordinate appropriate responses, preserve and gather evidence, and ensure incidents and emergencies are managed in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- PSIRA Grade A/B Registration
- Valid CCTV and Control Room Certification
- First Aid and Fire Fighting training
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Control Room or CCTV Monitoring environment
- Experience in incident management and security operations
- Computer literacy
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Fluent in English
- No criminal record
- Own reliable transport
