Fleet Controller - Cape Town
Overview
This critical role combines high-level security command with line-haul logistics oversight from our central fleet station. Main purpose will be to oversee the secure dispatch and real-time tracking of bulk cargo vehicles, utilizing advanced security technology and integrated systems to protect assets, mitigate risks, and maximize operational throughput.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Valid PSIRA Grade A/B Registration
- Control Room Certification (advantageous)
- Security Risk Management qualifications (advantageous)
- Minimum 2 to 4 years' experience in Security Control Rooms, Fleet Tracking and Monitoring, Line-haul Logistics Operations, Bulk Cargo Dispatch Environments, Security Incident & Response Management
- Proven operational experience with CiiMS, IRIS, Crystal, HikCentral, Avigilon, CCTV and Surveillance Systems, GPS Vehicle Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- High attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
