Security Site Manager - Vanderbijlpark
Overview
A vacancy for a Shift Supervisor has become vacant at one of Fidelity Security’s high-risk Sites based within the Vaal area. The main purpose of the position is to ensure that all site-specific security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are always efficiently and professionally met.
Requirements
- Matric Certificate/Grade 12
- Grade A Psira registration and accreditation
- 5-8 years’ experience in Security Operations
- Previous Shift Management experience advantageous
- Reside in or near Vanderbijlpark
- Analytical individual with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and discipline staff
- Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Strong Operational Planning, Leadership and Organisational Skills
- Good Interpersonal Communication and Client Liaison Skills
- Ability to work under pressure and for extended hours
- Willing to work flexi hours
- Own reliable transport
- Clear criminal record
- NKP accredited
Responsibilities
- Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client regarding security services rendered
- Evaluating service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client regarding improvements
- Continuous assessment of the Client’s premises and minimizing risky access
- Ensuring all Security Officers on site meet contractual requirements
- General management and supervision of security staff
- Submitting relevant monthly reports to the Client and Management when applicable
