Civil Draughtsperson
Overview
RPO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Civil Draughtsperson to join their Richards Bay office, where the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed civil engineering drawings and models, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and coordinating with engineers to produce accurate design documentation.
Requirements
- Relevant Draughting qualification
- 5–10 years' experience in civil draughting and modelling
- Extensive experience in the design and draughting of roads, stormwater systems, water and sewer infrastructure, bulk earthworks
- Proficient in Civil Designer and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and models using Civil Designer
- Produce drawings for roads, stormwater, water and sewer infrastructure, and bulk earthworks projects
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable standards and client requirements
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to produce accurate and timely design documentation
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering design changes and client comments
- Maintain drawing registers and project documentation
- Assist with the delivery of high-quality design documentation within project deadlines
