Contracts Manager / Senior Site Agent – Western Cape
Overview
A reputable company is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager / Senior Site Agent to join its Western Cape team. This is a senior-level opportunity for an accomplished construction professional with extensive experience working for a large, established construction contractor and a proven track record across commercial, industrial, and multi-storey construction projects.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- SACPCMP registration required
- Minimum 15 years' total construction experience
- At least 10 years' experience with a recognised large construction contractor in the Western Cape
- Previous experience specifically as a Senior Site Agent and/or Contracts Manager
- Strong commercial and industrial construction experience
- Extensive multi-storey construction experience
- Strong understanding of NEC and JBCC contracts and contract administration
Responsibilities
- Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects, teams, subcontractors, and commercial requirements
- Strong contract and commercial management skills
- Excellent leadership and people management ability
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent understanding of construction programmes, budgets, quality, and HSE
- Ability to manage complex construction projects from commencement through to completion
