Overview
The Deputy Director: Skills Development Facilitation is responsible for managing the Sub-directorate that oversees skills development for 11 WCG departments. This role includes conducting skills needs analysis, ensuring compliance with human resource development reports, liaising with SETAs and other agencies, and fostering partnerships for people development.
Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification)
- A minimum of 3 years middle management experience
Responsibilities
- Manage the sub-directorate responsible for skills needs analysis and compliance reports
- Facilitate and establish Skills Development and Bursary committees
- Assess the impact of skills development interventions
- Perform managerial functions regarding recruitment, training, and performance management
- Operational management of team duties and monitoring outcomes
- Give strategic direction to and manage policy issues
