Overview

The Revenue Analyst at FlySafair will support the optimization of inventory by analyzing trends in passenger demand and providing insights to management. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue management strategies with business objectives while assessing market conditions to identify revenue opportunities. The successful candidate will assist in fare decision-making and administrative tasks related to flight schedule loading.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent
  • B. Com degree or equivalent OR 10 years relevant experience
  • Aviation experience (Advantageous)
  • No criminal or bad credit record
  • Willingness to work longer than normal office hours
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Analytical ability to assemble information and draw logical conclusions
  • Comprehensive computer literacy
  • Immaculate time keeping

Responsibilities

  • Optimize inventory by identifying early trends in high and low demand periods
  • Regularly analyze historical passenger behavior, competitive environment, seasonal trends, and other factors influencing sales
  • Report and provide feedback to management
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue management strategies
  • Scrutinize airline market capacity and evaluate its applicability
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions
  • Assist with group fare decision making and quoting administration
  • Provide administrative support for flight schedule loading
