HR Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated HR Consultant to join our team, focusing on essential human resources functions that support our organisational goals.

Requirements

• A relevant degree in Human Resources or related field
• Demonstrable experience in a human resources role, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
• Proven experience representing an organisation at the CCMA, with sound knowledge of conciliation and arbitration processes
• Strong understanding of South African labour laws (including the LRA and BCEA) and HR best practices
• Experience in an HR business partnering capacity, with the ability to advise and influence line managers on people-related decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Proven track record in conflict resolution and problem-solving within a workplace setting
• A passion for wildlife and a commitment to sustainability and conservation

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process
• Conduct employee onboarding and orientation
• Implement HR policies and procedures
• Serve as a point of contact for employee queries
• Drive performance management processes
• Manage employee relations matters
• Represent the company at the CCMA where required
• Act as a strategic HR business partner
• Assist in the development and execution of training programs
• Analyse employee performance metrics
• Facilitate employee engagement activities
• Support the payroll team with benefits administration
