HR Practitioner (Randfontein) - Fixed Term Contract
Overview
RCL FOODS is on the hunt for an experienced HR Practitioner to join our Groceries Division on a Fixed Term Contract in Randfontein. The purpose of the role is to ensure effective Human Resources support to the business unit/factory through adequate delivery of HR Services, practices, procedures.
Requirements
- National Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial or Organization Psychology
- Valid drivers’ licence
- At least 3-5 years’ experience as a HR generalist
Responsibilities
- Implement and drive employee engagement initiatives aligned with the organization's People First strategy
- Partner with line managers to develop and execute engagement plans based on employee insights
- Drive recognition programs that enhance employee morale
- Coordinate employee events, wellness programs and other activities that foster a culture of empowerment
- Act as a key point of contact for employee concerns
- Promote effective internal communication
- Support change management initiatives
- Collaborate with L&D to support capability building
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Provide end to end support on employee relations matters
- Advise line managers and employees on disciplinary procedures and grievance handling
- Facilitate disciplinary hearings and investigations
- Ensure statutory compliance and provide guidance
- Participate in labour consultations and represent the organization at CCMA
- Monitor and support line managers in managing cases related to poor performance
- Track and report on ER trends
- Partner with line managers to understand hiring needs
- Promote diversity and inclusion in hiring practices
- Process recruitment permissions and offers
- Conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations
- Support the development and implementation of talent management strategies
- Facilitate individual development plans
- Coordinate performance appraisal documents
- Drive succession planning for the site/region
- Manage onboarding, terminations, and exit interviews
- Ensure data integrity in HR systems
