Master Data Administrator – Cataloguer (Fixed Term Contract)
Overview
RCL FOODS is seeking a Master Data Administrator – Cataloguer to join the Purchase to Pay Master Data team in the Group Services Division, providing administrative support to the master data team.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree, Mechanical would be an advantage or other relevant tertiary qualification (Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory or Maintenance Planning)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an SAP master data environment or a similar integrated systems environment
- Knowledge of SAP or similar operating systems (including multiple ERP and related systems)
- Understanding of workflow processes and procedures
- Filing and saving documents in a chronological and alphabetical order
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy (SAP and MS Office skills prerequisite)
- Interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking
- Numeracy
Responsibilities
- Cleanse and test the accuracy and completeness of requests for new master data records
- Identify Engineering Spares & Consumable materials and align data to Master Data naming convention
- Update master data attributes accurately and timeously as per authorisation
- Participate in project work in respect of new systems implementation and/or system enhancements
- Provide support to the Master Data team relating to new and amended master data attributes
- Propose and implement ways to improve master data maintenance and housekeeping
- Participate in the maintenance of master data information on depository information mediums
- Participate in the resolution of queries and issues relating to master data take-on and amendments
- Maintain relationships with all stakeholders that utilise master data
- Perform independent verification checks/validation of master data take-on and amendments
- Ensure the capture of new master data and requests for amendments are appropriately authorised
- Perform technical administration including running reports and validating data
