Requirements
- BEng in Civil Engineering (Structural)
- 4–7 years' structural engineering experience
- Professional registration with Engineering Council of South Africa
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Prokon, and Revit
Responsibilities
- Assist with the structural design and analysis of building projects
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and design documentation
- Produce and review structural drawings in collaboration with the drafting team
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction compliance
- Ensure designs comply with relevant South African standards and engineering best practices
- Support project delivery from concept design through to construction
- Contribute to technical problem-solving and engineering solutions
