The Maintenance Artisan Boilermaker will be responsible for safely performing fabrication, development, and repair/modification tasks essential for the optimal operation of the plant at the Dikwena Chrome facility in Brits, North West. The role encompasses assessing risk exposures, complying with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and execution of work orders.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / N3 (4 technical subjects and 2 languages)
- 1 Year relevant technical certificate
- 3 years’ relevant experience
- Boilermaker Trade
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess continuous risk exposures in the work area
- Comply with SHEQ requirements
- Perform job as outlined in Work Order and Task List
- Provide feedback on task instructions versus job requirements
- Handle breakdowns safely and capture relevant data
- Change out items and create PM orders for stock
- Handle loads using overhead cranes and forklifts
