Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Artisan Electrician to join the Dikwena Chrome team in Brits, North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all plant electrical equipment in accordance with assigned sections.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / N3 (4 technical subjects and 2 languages)
- 3 years’ relevant experience
- Electrical Trade
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess levels of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility
- Participate and comply with SHEQ requirements
- Perform work as outlined in the Work Order and as per the detailed Task List
- Conduct regular plant inspections
- Apply fault finding techniques
- Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding unavailable spares or equipment
- Perform isolation and issue lockout documents during unplanned interventions
- Handle loads using an overhead crane and forklift
- Uphold Operational Excellence through Continuous Improvement
