Overview
The Maintenance Artisan Fitter will join the Dikwena Chrome team in Brits, North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of mechanical parts, components, and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / N3 (4 technical subjects and 2 languages)
- 3 years’ relevant experience
- Fitter Trade
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of SAP & COUPA (advantageous)
Responsibilities
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance work on major equipment including Sub Arc Furnaces, Hydraulic Systems, and Overhead Cranes.
- Capture history and complete notifications to required standards.
- Perform isolation and issue lockout documents for unplanned interventions.
- Attend to breakdowns quickly and safely, capturing all related data.
- Manage rotable items, including creating PM orders and notifications.
- Handle loads using overhead cranes and forklifts.
