MONITORING & EVALUATION MANAGER - P Band
Overview
The Monitoring & Evaluation Manager will provide strategic leadership in the successful delivery of complex programmes and initiatives within the Finance Business Unit. The incumbent will be responsible for leading programme execution, developing robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks, analysing programme performance data, ensuring benefit realisation, and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent qualification
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Programme Management or related discipline
- 8–10 years' experience at Senior Management level
- Extensive experience in Programme Management and Monitoring & Evaluation
- Demonstrated experience in managing strategic programmes and large-scale initiatives
- Proven track record in delivering projects and programmes on time and within budget
- Experience in advanced M&E methodologies
- Experience integrating traditional M&E systems with modern technologies
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms, databases and automation technologies
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks aligned to Finance Business Unit strategic objectives
- Develop M&E plans, methodologies, indicators and reporting mechanisms
- Conduct baseline studies and establish programme performance benchmarks
- Define programme goals, objectives and measurable outcomes
- Lead and coordinate strategic programmes and special initiatives within the Finance Business Unit
- Monitor programme execution and performance against approved business cases
- Develop monitoring systems, tools and data collection mechanisms
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare regular progress reports for executive management
