Multi Skilled Handyman
Overview
Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Handyman to provide efficient and high-quality maintenance support across guest accommodation, villas, recreational facilities, and public areas within the Vacation Club. The role is responsible for ensuring that facilities remain safe, functional, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing while delivering excellent customer service to guests and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Trade-related qualification advantageous
- 3 to 5 years' experience in building, facilities, hospitality, or property maintenance
- Valid driver's licence
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance and repair work
- Conduct electrical and plumbing repairs within the scope of competence
- Complete carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, ceiling, and finishing repairs
- Maintain fixtures, fittings, doors, windows, and related building infrastructure
- Assist with refurbishment and improvement projects
- Conduct routine inspections of accommodation units and facility areas
- Identify and report maintenance risks, defects, and required repairs
- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed timeously
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and operational teams
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service at all times
- Minimize disruption to guests during maintenance activities
- Complete maintenance records and job-related documentation accurately
- Report completed work, materials used, and outstanding maintenance requirements
- Adhere to company procedures, safety standards, and reporting requirements
- Operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and hazard-free
