OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE SUPERVISOR
Overview
The Operational Intelligence Supervisor is responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness by optimizing and maintaining operational systems, business processes, and procedures, while providing effective reporting to relevant stakeholders. This role involves supervising reporting processes, analyzing reports, and collaborating with system developers to implement new systems, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree/NQF level 6 or 7
- 4-5 years’ experience in a systems/analytical environment
- Project Management an advantage
Responsibilities
- Screen operational reporting needs to ensure quality
- Supervise the reporting processes
- Analyze reports to identify exceptions and provide feedback on reporting when necessary
- Assist with overseeing projects and consolidate and analyze data
- Ensure operational reporting analysis when required
- Implement ROI reports
- Maintain applicable databases and review current processes
- Design and facilitate the implementation of new processes and systems
- Conduct regular system assurance evaluations
- Support and liaise with operations regarding relevant business systems
- Ensure effective asset recording and facilitate asset-related processes
- Supervise the accurate ordering and maintenance of equipment
- Capture project-specific data ensuring quality, accuracy, and integrity
- Facilitate and supervise the OI Administrators to ensure achievement of objectives
- Train new team members on internal processes and procedures
- Monitor performance of operational team in relation to departmental objectives
