Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ Adherence Centre in Midrand is seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to support the digital 'Speak to your Pharmacist' chat functionality. The role focuses on driving clinical excellence and operational efficiency in digital customer engagements by addressing operational questions and medication-related queries, promoting safe medication use, and enhancing customer satisfaction in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent Senior Certificate
- Degree in B. Pharm
- Registered tutor
- Registered with the Pharmacy Council
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years retail pharmacy experience
Responsibilities
- Respond to chat queries in real-time within target response time.
- Maintain customer satisfaction rating as measured via post-chat surveys.
- Ensure all communication is professional, clear, and customer-friendly.
- Participate in regular chat transcript reviews to achieve quality standards.
- Provide accurate, evidence-based clinical advice aligned with pharmacy practice guidelines.
- Adhere to medication safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Resolve or appropriately escalate operational queries such as medication availability.
- Maintain effective use of systems to verify stock, orders, and other operational data.
- Attend mandatory training and continuously update knowledge of new medications and regulations.
