- National Diploma/ Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
- Registration with relevant authority
- 2-5 years’ experience as a Diagnostic Radiographer
Responsibilities
- Adhere to processes in line with the working procedures and policies of the Bafokeng hospitals
- Support medical and nursing staff in the provision of radiography services
- Assess clients/patients using correct diagnostic techniques
- Expose and process X-rays and ensure they meet high professional standards
- Provide diagnostic radiography services
- Ensure regular servicing of X-ray equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for the provision of radiography services
- Assist in evaluating current practices and participate in continuous Quality Improvement programmes
- Encourage good customer service to clients/patients
- Support engagements with relevant internal and external key parties
- Escalate patient queries appropriately
- Assist in ensuring that equipment and products are always available
- Develop procurement plans for equipment and radiography devices
