RPO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Foreman to join a reputable building contractor's team in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional with a proven track record in successfully delivering commercial building projects.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Building or related qualifications
- Minimum 10–15 years' experience as a Construction Foreman within the building construction industry
- Proven commercial construction experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site operations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Valid driver's licence
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards
- Manage site labour, subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor construction progress and ensure work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Coordinate material deliveries and site resources to support efficient project execution
- Liaise with the site management team to resolve construction issues and maintain project progress
- Maintain accurate site records and report on project progress
