SENIOR OFFICER: ASSESSMENT SCHEDULING
Overview
The Senior Officer for Assessment Scheduling will manage the EISA request management and verification processes, ensuring the readiness of assessment sites and confirming learner eligibility. The role involves planning and scheduling assessments, overseeing their implementation, and ensuring compliance with QCTO policies. The officer will also handle documentation validation, report management, and stakeholder communication to enhance the effectiveness of assessment processes.

- National Senior Certificate or equivalent at a minimum
Responsibilities
- Receive and log EISA site readiness and assessment requests from SDPs and Assessment Centres
- Confirm learner eligibility, accreditation status of providers, and approval of assessment centres in line with QCTO requirements
- Validate completeness of required documentation (e.g., learner entry forms, SoRs, ID copies, assessment centre approval)
- Schedule EISA capacitation sessions for compliant SDPs and approved assessment centres
- Allocate registered and approved assessors/evaluators in accordance with QCTO prescribed and SSETA requirements
- Monitor assessors/markers availability and ensure assessment schedules are aligned with EISA plan
- Oversee the implementation of EISA at accredited and approved centres
- Support EISA monitoring (physical or virtual) to ensure compliance with QCTO assessment policies and procedures
- Validate learner evidence and documentation submitted for EISA (e.g., SoRs and ID copies where applicable)
- Compile and submit reports on EISA scheduling and implementation
- Receive and resolve queries related to EISA processes, learner eligibility, and assessment implementation
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders regarding EISA processes and requirements
- Capture, track, and report EISA-related data within systems
- Execute work plans and drive the evidence collection in real time
- Respond to audit findings with complete evidence, on time
