SHEQ Administrator
Overview
The SHEQ Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the SHEQ team, focusing on a range of daily duties related to safety, health, environmental, and quality management. This role includes maintaining high data quality, recording updates, and filing all relevant data while ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Distribution Centre environment as Health and Safety Admin
- Incident investigation and fire fighting experience
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and G-suite
- Fully bilingual (English and Zulu)
- Willing to work P40 (includes weekends)
- Competencies: Planning, Organising and Control; Communication; Detail orientation; Stress tolerance; Confidence; Service orientation
Responsibilities
- Maintaining Health and Safety records
- Organizing Health and Safety trainings and meetings
- Administration (Electronic and Manual filling)
- Reporting and investigating safety hazards
- Ensuring completion of Health and Safety actions
- Conducting Health and Safety Induction
- Consolidating KPI spot-check checklists and reporting gaps to the SHEQ Officer
- Performing ad hoc tasks as required
