Overview
RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established building services subcontracting company in Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Site / Construction Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects across various construction sites.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Building or BTech Degree in Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum 7 years' construction/site management experience
- Proven experience working for a building services subcontractor or specialist subcontracting environment
- Experience managing commercial, residential, retail, industrial or multi-storey building projects
- Strong understanding of construction site procedures, programmes and coordination
- Experience working alongside main contractors and professional teams
- Knowledge of health & safety and quality requirements
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills

- Coordinating site activities
- Managing teams and subcontractors
- Ensuring quality and programme requirements are met
- Maintaining strong relationships with main contractors, clients and professional teams
