Overview
We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer I to help deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions within an Agile environment. The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and automation coding.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test solutions and frameworks.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, Product Owners, and QA teams to deliver quality software.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimations, showcases, and retrospectives.
- Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
- Identify, log, track, and support the resolution of defects and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure test automation solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned with quality standards and governance requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing testing processes, frameworks, and delivery efficiency.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior Software Test Engineers to strengthen team capability.
