Overview
The Team Leader for Evolution Finance in Tzaneen will be responsible for managing sales activities and overseeing a Credit Team within the cluster. The role requires building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with operational requirements, and executing the sales cluster’s strategy to meet targets. Additionally, the Team Leader will focus on achieving sales targets while promoting efficient service models and cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Competence with Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of sales principles and customer service
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities
- Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Knowledge of sales processes and strategies
- Planning and organizational competence
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in basic Excel and other relevant software
- Ability to present statistical data clearly
Responsibilities
- Provide market coverage and sales for the areas
- Management of sales activities to achieve targeted qualitative metrics
- Oversee Credit Team activities and outputs within the cluster
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Recruit, train, and develop Credit Teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and operational requirements
- Achievement of product sales targets
- Management of promotional and other expenditures within approved budgets
- Co-develop and execute the sales cluster’s strategy to meet targets
- Implement efficient service models to reduce the cluster’s cost of sales
- Promote cross-sell opportunities within the merchant base
- Increase active store count to targets set by Sales Manager/SPC
