Requirements
- National Diploma in a relevant field (Essential/Minimum)
- N Diploma in Supply Chain Management (Essential/Minimum)
- N4 Technical qualification (Essential/Minimum)
- Trade: Artisan (Relevant), MQA/QCTO Accreditation (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate in First Line Management (Essential/Minimum)
- B Tech in a relevant field (Recommended/Desirable)
- 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Maintenance environments (Essential/Minimum)
- Experience in Reconditioning within Supply Chain and Maintenance areas is required
- Competence in SAP Position Specific Module (Essential/Minimum)
- Proficiency in MS Office relevant packages (Essential/Minimum)
- Valid Public Driver's License, Code B (Essential/Minimum)
- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, safety standards, and company policies throughout reclamation and reconditioning activities.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and enhance workplace safety.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to meet business objectives and service level agreements.
- Conduct regular inventory control and technical inspections within the Reclamation Yard to ensure accurate records and compliance with safety requirements.
- Manage reconditioning requisitions, purchase orders, and monitor supplier performance to achieve cost-effective and timely repairs.
- Participate actively in audit processes and develop strategies for continuous improvement in reclamation and reconditioning operations.
- Promote a collaborative team environment by supporting performance management and reinforcing company values and culture.
- Oversee the organisation and execution of auctions and other sales processes for the disposal of redundant materials.
- Support supply chain activities by leveraging systems infrastructure and technology to enhance process efficiency.
- Champion a culture of safety and health by ensuring compliance with all SHE policies and fostering a safe work environment.
