Wet Services Draughtsperson - Consulting Industry
Overview
RPO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Wet Services Draughtsperson with strong Revit experience to join a well-established engineering consulting firm in Durban. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of building services projects, including commercial, healthcare, and mission-critical facilities.
Requirements
- Relevant draughting qualification or certification
- Minimum 2 years' practical experience using Revit MEP (2013 or later versions)
- Previous experience within the building services consulting engineering environment
- Exposure to wet services drafting for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres, or similar developments
- Sound understanding of engineering drawing standards and detailing
- Basic wet services design knowledge would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Prepare concept, tender, and construction drawings for wet services projects using Revit MEP
- Produce accurate and coordinated technical drawings in accordance with project specifications and company standards
- Update and revise drawings throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate drawings with engineers and other building services disciplines to ensure clash-free designs
- Assist with maintaining drawing quality, accuracy, and document control
