Department of Land Reform Bursary 2027: Tuition, Accommodation & Meals
Overview
The Department of Land Reform and Rural Development (DLRRD) intends to award comprehensive bursaries to qualifying applicants pursuing and/or intending to further their studies in identified careers in Geomatics and Town/Urban and Regional Planning for the 2026 academic year. The bursary will cover tuition, accommodation, books, meals, and living allowance. The bursary targets the previously disadvantaged and persons from rural communities. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Applicants must be South African citizens.
- Minimum requirements for fields of study include Mathematics and Physical Science/Geography at level 5 (60-69) or level 4 (50-59) depending on the qualification.

- Complete the online bursary application form available on the DLRRD website.
- Submit applications with certified copies of ID and certificates/performance results.
