Overview
The Northern Cape Provincial Government, through the Premier's Bursary Programme, is inviting RSA citizens, unemployed youth (18-30) from the Province, to apply for a bursary for full-time studies for undergraduate / first qualification studies at any accredited South African Higher Education Institution (HEI). Financially needy applicants performing academically well will be prioritized.
Requirements
- Duly completed application with supporting documents as per OTP checklist
- South African citizen residing in the Northern Cape province
- Applied for studies and or already studying at registered Higher Education Institutions
- Fields of study aligned to disciplines identified as scarce, critical and hard-to-fill positions within the province
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics related fields of study are prioritised
- Demographic spread (Race & Gender)
- Persons with Disabilities will be prioritised
- Geographic area (equitable across districts)
- Academic achievement of applicants

- Enter into a contractual agreement with the Office of the Premier
