Overview
iMas Insurance Brokers invites applications for the Short Term Insurance (Non-Life) Learnership Programme. This opportunity is open to unemployed individuals from previously disadvantaged and designated groups who are eager to build a career in the insurance industry. Participants will gain practical experience in Telesales and/or Customer Service, structured theoretical training, and on-the-job coaching and mentoring. A 12-month fixed-term contract with a monthly allowance of R6,000 is offered, along with an Insurance Qualification (NQF Level 4) upon successful completion.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Accounting
- Currently unemployed
- Not registered for any other studies, learnership, internship or YES Programme
- Available to start the learnership immediately
Responsibilities
- Conducting basic research and applying literacy and numeracy skills in insurance and risk assessment
- Managing personal risk and understanding financial risks
- Applying legislative, ethical and compliance knowledge within the insurance environment
