Overview
iMas Insurance Brokers invites applications for the Long-Term Insurance (Life) Learnership Programme. This opportunity is open to unemployed individuals from previously disadvantaged and designated groups who are eager to build a career in the insurance industry. The programme offers practical experience in Sales and/or Administration within Long-Term Insurance, structured theoretical training, and on-the-job coaching and mentoring. It includes a 12-month fixed-term contract with a monthly allowance of R6,000 and the attainment of an Insurance Qualification (NQF Level 4) upon successful completion.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Accounting
- Currently not employed
- Not registered for any other studies, learnership, internship or YES Programme
- Available to start the learnership immediately
Responsibilities
- Conducting basic research and applying literacy/numeracy skills in insurance risk assessment
- Managing personal finances and understanding financial risk
- Applying legislative, ethical, and compliance knowledge within the insurance environment
