Staff Nurse Grade 1 to 3 (Trauma and Emergency) (Theatre)
Requirements
- Qualification that allows registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Staff Nurse
- Grade 1: None experience
- Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years recognisable nursing experience as a Staff Nurse after registration with the SANC
- Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years recognisable experience as an enrolled nurse after registration with the SANC
- Willingness to work shifts, night duty, weekends and public holidays as well as overtime
- Ability to lift and turn patients, stand long hours and lift heavy equipment
- Willingness to rotate between departments
- Ability to interpret basic clinical signs and symptoms
- Knowledge of Nursing Practices and IPC, control measures and practices
- Good communication skills
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Self-discipline
