CASP Graduate 2026-2027 (A)
Overview
The CASP Graduate program aims to effectively place unemployed graduates with agriculture-related qualifications in relevant farms or enterprises within the agriculture value chain, contributing to reducing the unemployment rate among the youth in the Western Cape. This internship provides participants with essential practical work experience and connects them to potential entities that support entrepreneurial development.
Requirements
- A 3-year B-degree or higher qualification in Biotech, Food Science and Technology, Microbiology, or Viticulture and Oenology (for Stellenbosch applicants)
- A 3-year National Diploma or higher qualification in Viticulture (for Bredasdorp applicants)
- A 3-year National Diploma or higher qualification in Farming Management or Agriculture Management (for Paarl applicants)
- Desire to gain practical work experience
- South African citizen residing in the Western Cape
- Unemployed graduates aged between 18 and 45 years
- Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Receive on-the-job training in the Agriculture department
