CASP Graduate 2026-2027 (Crop Production)
Overview
The CASP Graduate program aims to place unemployed graduates with agriculture-related qualifications in relevant farms or enterprises within the agricultural value chain. This initiative seeks to reduce the unemployment rate among the youth of the Western Cape by providing practical hands-on experience and linking participants to entities that support entrepreneurial development.
Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma or higher qualification in Agriculture (Crop Production)
- Desire for practical work experience
- South African citizen residing in the Western Cape
- Unemployed graduate between the ages of 18 and 45 years
- Persons with a disability are encouraged to apply
- Suitable qualification in line with agriculture
Responsibilities
- On-the-job training will be provided by the Department of Agriculture
