Senior Internal Auditor
Overview
RCL FOODS is a deeply rooted South African food manufacturer that produces some of the country’s most-loved brands. The main purpose of this role is to provide independent oversight regarding the effectiveness of and adherence to Group internal controls.
Requirements
- A degree/diploma in Accounting or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or CA (SA)
- At least 3 years’ experience in auditing activities
- SAP experience would be advantageous
- FMCG industry experience would be advantageous
- Willing to travel
Responsibilities
- Engage line management to determine current business processes and documents
- Identify risks and internal controls already implemented
- Evaluate adequacy of controls and recommend appropriate controls
- Assist the Internal Audit Manager in preparing a risk based internal audit plan
- Conduct audits in accordance with the Annual Audit Plan and Audit Methodology
- Conduct audit testing of specified processes
- Determine line managers’ compliance with recommendations
- Compile findings, root causes, potential effects, recommendations for consideration by the Audit Manager
