Requirements

• 3 years experience as a builder or in a similar artisan role, demonstrating strong craftsmanship skills.
• Understanding of construction procedures, materials, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse project teams.
• Basic knowledge of tools and technology used in the building industry.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and maintain structures such as walls, roofs, and cabinetry using wood, metal, and other materials.
• Interpret and execute architectural drawings and specifications to create functional and aesthetically appealing works.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespersons to ensure timely and quality delivery of work.
• Perform site measurements and assessments to determine the materials and methods required for each project.
• Adhere to safety and building regulations, ensuring compliance with local laws and standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and follow proper usage protocols.
• Provide guidance to apprentices and junior builders, sharing expertise and best practices.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for project documentation.
