OFFICER: SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT REGISTRATION
Overview
The institution is seeking an Officer: Subject Matter Expert Registration to manage and oversee the registration processes for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Responsibilities include preparing and reporting on registration submissions, monitoring SME registration requirements, assessing facilitator registrations, responding to queries, and ensuring database management. Successful candidates will be expected to implement work plans and comply with operational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent, at a minimum NQF Level 4
- Relevant NQF Level 6 qualification in Business Management, Public Administration, Quality Assurance or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in business management or public administration with a focus on quality assurance
- Knowledge and understanding of skills development, NQF legislation, SAQA regulations and QCTO delegations
Responsibilities
- Prepare and report on registration submissions from SMEs
- Receive and log registration submissions from SMEs
- Monitor the minimum requirements of SME registration
- Assess facilitator, assessor, moderator, and mentor registration and provide relevant information
- Respond to SME queries on registration
- Update the database continually
- Support learners in finding the correct SME according to occupational qualifications
- Execute work plans and drive evidence collection in real time
- Produce reports against the implementation of work plans
- Respond to audit findings with complete evidence, on time
- Implement documented data management practices
- Comply with policies and procedures in the unit
- Record, file, and ensure the availability of information
