Pharmacy Manager
Overview
We're looking for a dynamic Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Medirite Willowbridge. In this role, you'll lead a dedicated pharmacy team, drive operational excellence, and ensure the delivery of exceptional healthcare services while maintaining compliance and business performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree/ equivalent qualification
- Registered as a pharmacist at the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- A PCDT (Primary Care Drug Therapy) qualification
- Registered as a tutor
Responsibilities
- Dispense medication accurately and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage pharmacy administration, stock control, housekeeping, sales, and marketing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all legal, professional, and company requirements
- Plan, prioritise, and oversee daily pharmacy operations
- Monitor performance, manage budgets, and resolve operational challenges
- Build effective relationships with prescribers, suppliers, store management, and support teams
- Coach, mentor, and develop pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy support staff
- Drive a positive, high-performance culture through leadership, motivation, and accountability
