The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring the profitability and growth of the store through effective cost management and sales maximization. This role involves planning and budgeting in collaboration with senior management, overseeing procurement and stock control to maintain optimal levels, and ensuring effective customer service and complaint resolution. The Store Manager will also handle daily operations, analyze operational information, and provide insights for business improvements.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Preferably a commerce bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Preferably Financial or Management diploma
- 5-10 years retail experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a junior-mid level management position
- Previous industry related experience
- Financial acumen
- Inwards and Outwards Logistics/Procurement skills
- Merchandising principles
- Preferably have knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
